B.Sc.(Hons) Computer Science Graduate from University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), June 2019. Highly motivated individual with a proven track record in Android, Web and Software development. Currently focused on learning more about the field of Data Science, Computer Vision and Software Development. As a dedicated individual, I am always driven to take advantage of any and all new learning opportunities.

During my four years of undergraduate education at University of Ontario Institute of Technology, I had the opportunity to work on multiple projects spanning from a simple console application to an entire software application. I was able to effectively provide leadership, develop both self-learning and inter-professional collaboration skills, along with the ability to communicate and provide appropriate feedback.

More recently, I initiated the development and deployment of a Facial Recognition Software to gain a better understanding of some of the techniques and methodologies that are used in Computer Vision and Machine learning. The software is able to correctly recognize the user's face with an average confidence of 60%.

Along with the Facial Recognition Software, I have also been developing my personal website rishabhpatel.ca, using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I started the UI design process of the website in July 2019 and from thereon, the coding phase began in early September 2019. I was able to deploy the first version of the site on October 1st, 2019. As I am a solution-oriented individual, I am constantly seeking and utilizing feedback pertaining to improving the overall functionality of the website and making it responsive for all devices.

My future plans include updating the flow, UI (front-end), back-end code and publishing some of my Android applications to the Google Playstore.
